How to Delete a Form (and Can You Restore It?)
Delete a FormRobin form from Forms: click the form's ⋮ menu, choose Delete and confirm. Deleting cannot be undone, so export responses first.
Deleting forms works the same on both plans, Free Plan and Individual Plan.
What Happens When You Delete a Form?
A deleted form disappears from your forms list and stops accepting submissions. Its public link and embed code stop working straight away: anyone who opens the link sees a "page not found" error.

How to Delete a Form
- Click Forms in the top navigation.
- Find the form you want to delete.
- Click the ⋮ (More) menu on the form's row.
- Choose Delete.
- Your browser asks: "Are you sure you want to delete this form? This action cannot be undone."
- Click OK to delete the form.
Important: download your responses before deleting a form if you want to keep them.
What Gets Deleted?
- The form - its questions and settings are removed from your forms list
- Its link - the public link and embed code stop working
- Its responses - they can no longer be opened in FormRobin
- New submissions - the form cannot be submitted any more, so nothing new reaches Google Sheets, SendFox, webhooks or Zapier
Keep a Copy of Your Data
Before you delete an important form, open its Sessions page and click Export CSV to download every response (see Exporting Form Data as CSV).
Who Can Delete Forms?
- The form owner - the person who created the form
- The folder owner - the owner of the folder the form is in
Can Deleted Forms Be Restored?
No. FormRobin has no restore button or trash, and deleting a form cannot be undone from your account. If you deleted a form by mistake, contact support at support@formrobin.com right away with the form name and when you deleted it.
Alternatives to Deletion
- Unpublish - switch the form from Published to Unpublished on its row in the forms list. The link stops working, but the form and its responses stay in your account, and you can publish it again at any time.
- Move to folder - use Move to folder in the ⋮ menu to put forms you want to keep out of the way (see Organizing Forms with Folders).
- Turn off notifications - switch off Enable email notifications in the form editor's Settings.
- Duplicate first - use Duplicate in the ⋮ menu to keep a copy before you make big changes.
Bulk Deletion
Forms are deleted one at a time from each form's ⋮ menu. Responses are different: on a form's Sessions page you can select several responses and delete them together (see Viewing and Managing Form Responses).
Troubleshooting
I deleted the wrong form
- Deleting cannot be undone from your account. Contact support at support@formrobin.com right away with the form name and when you deleted it.
- Next time, export the responses first (see Exporting Form Data as CSV).
I can't find the Delete option
- Open Forms in the top navigation and click the ⋮ menu at the end of the form's row; Delete is the last item.
- Only the form owner or the owner of its folder can delete a form (see Organizing Forms with Folders).
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I undo a deletion?
No. There is no undo or trash in FormRobin. Export responses before deleting, or unpublish the form instead.
What happens to a form's responses when I delete it?
They can no longer be opened in FormRobin. Export them to CSV first if you need them.
Does unpublishing a form delete it?
No. Unpublishing only switches off the public link. The form and its responses stay in your account, and you can switch it back to Published at any time.
