How to Find Your Way Around the FormRobin Dashboard

Find your way around FormRobin: the Dashboard shows analytics, the Forms page holds your forms and folders, and the top-right menu opens Settings and Plan.

What does the Dashboard show?

After you log in, FormRobin opens the Dashboard: your form analytics, recent activity and top forms.

Dashboard Features

• Analytics cards - Total forms, Form starts, Submissions and Conversion rate, each with a small chart
• Timeframe - on the Individual Plan, choose Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Past 12 Months or All Time; the Free Plan shows All Time
• Recent activity - the latest submissions; open one with View session details
• Top forms - your forms with the most submissions, each with View, Analytics and Edit icons

What is in the top bar?

The top bar has:

• Dashboard - back to the analytics overview
• Forms - your forms and folders
• Your name (top right) - opens your user settings; on the Individual Plan a Lifetime badge appears next to it
• Menu (three lines, top right) - Settings, Plan, Feedback, Help Center and Logout

What is in the menu?

Click the three-line menu icon at the top right to open:

• Settings - integrations, webhook, Meta Pixel and API
• Plan - your plan, usage and limits
• Feedback - send feature requests or report problems
• Help Center - this help centre, in a new tab
• Logout - sign out

On a small screen, the menu also shows your name at the top.

What is on the Forms page?

Click Forms in the top bar to see your forms, most recently changed first.

Forms List

• Folders - the left sidebar lists Most recent forms and your folders, with Add new folder at the bottom (on a small screen, use Select a folder:) — see Organizing Forms with Folders
• Search forms... - find forms by name
• New form - create a form
• Form rows - each shows the name, a Published/Unpublished switch, the last edit date, the number of submissions and the completion rate. Clicking a row opens its Sessions page.

Form Row Icons

• Sessions (table icon) - the form's submissions
• Analytics (chart icon) - the form's analytics
• Share (share icon) - link and embed code; published forms only
• View (external-link icon) - opens the live form in a new tab; published forms only

The ⋮ Menu

Click ⋮ (More) at the end of a form's row for:

• Edit - open the form editor
• Duplicate - make a copy of the form
• Move to folder - move the form to another folder
• Delete - delete the form, after a confirmation

Settings

Open the menu and choose Settings. The sidebar has:

• Integrations - SendFox, Google Sheets and Zapier
• Webhook - send submissions to your own URL (Individual Plan)
• Meta Pixel - conversion tracking (Individual Plan)
• API - API tokens and OAuth clients

What does the Plan page show?

What You'll Find

Open the menu and choose Plan to see:

• Your plan, Free Plan or Individual Plan
• Usage and limits - AI Generations used this month and your Workspaces
• Plan features - what your plan includes
• On the Free Plan, an upgrade banner that leads to the pricing page

Help Center Access

Open the menu and choose Help Center. This help centre opens in a new tab, where you can search the articles.

Form Editor

Open a form with ⋮ → Edit (or Edit in Top forms). The editor shows your form on a single canvas.

Editor Layout

• Canvas - your questions, which you can drag to reorder
• Add a new question - pick from 13 question types
• Question controls - hover a question to change its type, add conditional visibility, delete it or drag it
• Top bar - a link back to Forms and the form's folder, plus Settings, Styles, Preview and Save

Form Settings Panel

Click Settings in the editor to open the settings panel:

• Publish form - make the form live
• Enable email notifications - get an email for each submission
• Multi-page mode - show one question per page
• Enable custom redirect - send people to your own page after they submit (Individual Plan; the Free Plan shows an upgrade note instead)

Close it with the X in its corner.

Sessions (Responses)

Click the Sessions icon, or the form's row, to see its submissions: open one for details, search, filter by source (Individual Plan), export to CSV, download uploaded files and delete submissions. See Viewing and Managing Form Responses.

Mobile Navigation

• Dashboard and Forms stay in the top bar
• The menu (three lines) holds your name, Settings, Plan, Feedback, Help Center and Logout
• On the Forms page, the Select a folder: dropdown replaces the sidebar

Keyboard Shortcuts (Form Editor)

• Ctrl/Cmd + S - save the form
• Ctrl/Cmd + P - preview / exit preview
• Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + S - open or close the Styles panel
• Enter / Ctrl + Enter - next page in a multi-page form (Ctrl + Enter in a long answer)

Navigation Tips

• Row click - clicking a form's row opens its submissions; use ⋮ → Edit to change the form
• Folders - keep related forms together
• Direct links - bookmark pages you use often

Troubleshooting

I can't find Settings or Plan

• Both are in the three-line menu at the top right (see Account Settings Overview).

Clicking a form opens its submissions, not the editor

• That is what a row click does (see Viewing and Managing Form Responses). To edit, use ⋮ → Edit on the row.

Share and View icons are missing on a form

• They appear only on published forms. Turn the row's switch to Published (see Publishing and Sharing Your Form).
